Phil has a deep passion for creating connections, which is why he founded two major annual conferences for digital retailers on opposite sides of the world. Retail Global hosts conferences in Australia and the U.S. Hosting conferences allows Phil to bring creative minds from around the world together to collaborate and share in order to create meaningful change.Having built a large and successful eBay business, Phil founded PeSA… the Professional eBay Sellers Alliance, from which Retail Global was born, and working together with leaders in the retail world, identifies the big and small trends that make the biggest impact within retail. Phil believes greatness comes from going against the grain, and makes sure innovation plays a big part within his conferences and his own team environment.
When organizing our conferences, I put my retail shoes on and focus intensely on what attendees need most—information on the actionable steps they most need to improve their business. So I’m constantly working to:
- create collaboration between retailers and their customers
- educate others about what’s coming next
- connect the world
